TinyTap: Kids' Learning Games App Reviews

I never knew I could create games that would fit the needs of my classroom perfectly. Tiny Tap has given me the opportunity to do just that! I love it!❤️

This app just keeps getting better and better. Now that text responses are possible, its a whole new ballgame! TinyTap continues to demonstrate their commitment to bringing a top quality instructional tool to teachers all over the world. Thanks!

Why cant I create games? It is very annoying.

Tried to join this but it wouldnt accept any password that I tried to use and never gave a sample password rule so that I could create a proper password. Giving up figuring that if you cant even join easily, the rest of it is probably going to be just as frustrating.

TinyTap is a great tool for creating quick practice games that are easily differentiated by age and language proficiency level. It is only limited by your imagination. Sure, there are things it cant do, but it can do a lot and my students (kinder through 5th grade) love it! They even create games for each other.

So happy to have accessible apps for my students. Thank you

Crashes a lot on iPad 2 on startup. Would be nice not to have to load the front page with all the links from the web.

My students love it. I am very disappointed in having to buy private storage. I already bought the app. I shouldnt have to pay again to store my own games! Not very good for privacy!

Ive used TinyTap with my students with limited success. They LOVE it... When it works. The app crashes on their iPads a lot. There are also frequent download issues: failure, download isnt playable, need to login to download, download restarts repeatedly, etc. My schools Internet is reliable so it seems to be app or TinyTap cloud-related, and it happens regardless of game size. No matter how cool, easy to use, or full of potential the app, if it does not deliver the content my students need, it fails. Fix these issues and Im back on board. For now, Im done with TinyTap.

Ive been using TinyTap for a few years, and I am always blown away by their continued commitment to making this app better and better. Now that they added Tap n Type, the students can respond expressively for the first time. And the additional capability to add animated GIFs will add a whole new dimension to the activities we create. Havent had any of the problems with downloading that someone else mentioned.

With the ability to attach sounds and text bubbles to your images, thats awesome. Now with the challenge mode, you add replay value and leaderboards..

My students love creating their own activities or helping me create activities using their personal goals. We use it almost every therapy session!!
